Child Library Policy

  • Children under 13 MUST be attended by a parent or caregiver at all times.
  • Children under 13 attending a Library program must have their parent or caregiver remain on the premises.
  • Unattended children over 13 must be picked up 15 minutes prior to closing time. If a child is left after closing, the police will be called. Under no circumstances can a staff member transport a child to another location.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for their children's behavior, ther materials that they check out and what they view on the Internet.
