Do you ever wonder what your pet is thinking and feeling?  Do you want to receive a message from a pet who has passed on?  Join Rev. Kathleena for an informational and unforgettable program as she opens the doors of animal communication.  Please bring a picture of one pet, living or deceased (no electronic pictures, i.e. on your cell phone).  Everyone will have a chance to ask Rev. Kathleena one question about their pet.

Lyon Township Public Library is pleased to have one of the premiere genealogical research departments in SE Michigan. Local history and Michigan history are well represented in our materials, including scrapbooks of birth, marriage, and death records, a full collection of the South Lyon Herald on CD dating back to 1929, local cemetery indexes, records of Phillips Funeral Home in South Lyon, and local family histories.

Community Sewing Group

Meet on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the W.K. Smith Community Center adjacent to the library. The former Bag Ladies of South Lyon, who make sleeping bags for the homeless, have now expanded their projects to sewing for hospitals, nursing homes, day care centers, or wherever there is a need. New members are encouraged to drop in for any or all of the meeting time.

Donation request:Yarn! You can drop it off at the Library on Mondays from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.
