The Lyon Township Public Library is happy to provide downloadable ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, music, movies and more to your tablet, smartphone and eReader!

For these services you must have a valid Lyon Township Public Library card and know your PIN.

Overdrive

eBooks and audiobooks are available to be  “checked out” for 7, 14 or 21 days from the Download Destination website, anytime and anywhere you have internet access!  Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period and will be deleted from your device.  You will never have late fees!

Tumblebooks

Our Library has a subscription to TumbleBookLibrary, and your family can access it from home! It’s unlimited, and it’s FREE for you to use from home!

TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of e-books for children. They are a great way to encourage tech-savvy kids to enjoy reading!
There are over 250 animated, talking picture books! The site also features Spanish and French books, read-along chapter books, non-fiction books, and exciting games and puzzles!
You can use your computer, tablet, or mobile phone! All you need is an internet connection. There are no downloads: books are streamed right to your device at the click of a button.  Use the link below or download the app to your device.

Our Library has a subscription to Consumer Reports Online that you can use to get instant, unlimited access to exclusive unbiased Ratings and recommendations of products and services! Mango Languages

Mango is free for all library patrons and can be accessed anywhere with an Internet connection. Each lesson combines real life situations and audio from native speakers with simple, clear instructions. The courses are presented with an appreciation for cultural nuance and real-world application by focusing on the four key elements of language learning: vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and culture.
Mango offers access to 70 foreign language courses and 21 English courses taught completely in the user’s native language. In addition to traditional language courses, Mango also offers access to a variety of specialty mini courses, like Pirate, Medical Spanish and romance courses.
