Gigong, a 5,000 year old system referred to as an “Ancient Chinese Secret of Health & Longevity” uses simple movement, breathing technique, and mental focus to cultivate internal energy. The class focuses on the power of Qigong for health, self-healing and longevity. An excellent way to manage stress, find balance and inner-harmony. Each class ends with a guided meditation.
The Sewing Group will not be meeting during the month of July. We will resume on August 7.
Meet on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the W.K. Smith Community Center adjacent to the library. The former Bag Ladies of South Lyon, who make sleeping bags for the homeless, have now expanded their projects to sewing for hospitals, nursing homes, day care centers, or wherever there is a need. New members are encouraged to drop in for any or all of the meeting time.
